Ursula was born and raised in Germany. She immigrated to Canada in the sixties, where she resides today. Always interested in the arts, she developed into a mid-career artist in the nineties.
Mainly self-taught, she took courses at Emily Carr, the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts and the Federation of Canadian Artists.
Ursula is fascinated with the mystery of evolution. Her curiosity forces her to take a closer look at plants, rocks and land formations. Everything in nature has a life of its own. Shapes, forms, colour and light change according to the elements.
Ursula’s work can be seen in Europe, the USA, Singapore, and across Canada.
